Riverrun

A good friend, Anders Berg, whom I haven't heard from in many years called one day. We spoke for about an hour and discussed everything from dogs, friends, weather and work. Anders mentioned a recording made at Gothenburg's art museum (modern department) in 2011 that I haven't heard in many years.
When my wife Lena-Maria and I decided to move back to Värmland after seventeen years in Hälsingland, I came up with the idea to arrange a number of concerts with Riverrun and guest soloists at the art museum in Gothenburg. The venue has fine acoustics and had a good grand piano, and being able to create music surrounded by works of art created by e.g. Andy Warhol and Francis Bacon never hurt.
Riverrun was myself on tenor sax, David Bäck piano and vocals, Peeter Uuskyla drums.
If memory serves me correctly, the guests were Niclas Rydh-trombone, Nina Deheny-double bass, Biggi Vinkeloe-saxophone, flute, Jonny Wartel-saxophone, Mike Lloyd-trumpet and Matti Ollikainen-piano. I recorded most of the concerts and naturally all of them were unique in their kind as it was improvised music.
